The Mole on ABC

I just learned that my co-worker's husband is a contestant on the new season of The Mole which starts on 6/2. I am so excited for them!

The guy that I went to homecoming with sophomore year of high-school was on a REALLY cheesy FOX reality show called “Paradise Hotel” a few years ago. It was a terrible show, but I was drawn in to watching it because I totally KNEW the guy. And he made it all the way to the final 4 so I HAD to watch the awfulness week after week. This will be much more fun! He's a HS teacher and I bet his students are excited, too! :bounce:

1. I watched celeb mole

a few years ago. It was interesting. I'll probably give it a shot for a few episodes. Good luck to your friend's husband! Maybe he is the mole!

2. Mark was really bummed

When he watched his journal go up in smoke, I bet next week they have a chance to win back photo copies of their journals that were made when the host took them to make notes for the table questions.

3. I was just talking to his wife about this

We talked about how on reality shows they can and do edit you to be the character that they want you to be. She said that there are still some specifics about which he cannot speak (they haven't filmed the finale yet).

But she said that this week's episode frustrated her.

Now we know Mark is NOT the Mole.

He was one of my suspects, actually.

This is my first time watching the Mole. Kinda decent summer filler.

I was devastated when Victoria left. That girl was frickin gorgeous!

I had always assumed that the Mole was an actor and not a real contestant, but I guess that's not the case.

It's my first year watching the show.

I gotta say that after last night Mark vaulted up my list. Passing up that exemption was mighty suspicious.

Nicole was the mole. She seems the most likely almost to obvious. The least likely person is Craig. What a hoot if it was Craig. Reality TV at it's best.

10. I learned yesterday that my co-worker, Mark's wife Brenda, will be on the next episode!!

When asked at the end of last show if they were the mole, Nicole said, "I am not the Mole". Mark said " I am not the Mole" but Craig said "Mark is the Mole" he did not answer the question.

Could be mistaken.

Craig could easily be the mole though. It was so easy for him to sabotage pretty much every physical challenge due to his weight and lack of athleticism.

18. So, get this all "Mole" fans.

Turns out local ABC affiliate in Milwaukee is PREEMPTING the finale to show a preseason Packers game (it won't be shown until the following Sunday at noon!!).

Mark and Brenda had a party planned for the finale. So, she called around and NOBODY in WI is airing. They initially planned on driving to IL to watch, but after contacting ABC, they are getting a tape of the show and are hosting a viewing party at a church on finale night.

So I get to watch finale with Mark and Brenda! :bounce:

19. Yay, Mark!!

There were between 250-300 people at the viewing and it went NUTS when he walked out the door! I am so very happy for Mark and Brenda and I am so glad that I could be there when they showed it.

Mark really deserved to win, and Craig was a terrifically inspired Mole.

22. She's still up in the air. She's due to deliver their 4th child in October

So she'll be taking some extended maternity time.

They had a Q&A after the show and my 2 questions were: "Would you do another reality show?" and "Will Brenda be at work tomorrow?"
