| Survivor Gabon - Episodes 3 - Fang Strikes Back |
|
Fang struck back hard. After two episodes of losing, they hit back hard. However, Kota's members, knowing how to play the game, voted out the weakest person and person with the least pverall contribution to the tribe. Paloma just never found her nitch. She needed to come out strong in personality to make up for her size, but she never did. I still think Kota will dominate this game.
Onto the episode. Randy is becoming my favorite. He is such a pain in the ass. He complains about everyone. I love it. I hope he sticks around to piss people off. He also held his own at the challenges, so he should be around for awhile. I loved him calling his tribe stupid and complete idiots. GC is going to be voted out soon. It seems like he wants to be voted out. He is givign up in the challenges and is not helping things at camp. I say he goes after the next loss.
the RC was fun to watch. Dan surprised me by how weak he was. I thought he would have lasted longer. Ace rocked. I'm not sure what Ace was thinking in putting Paloma up to defend the pole. It was no contest. Sugar was fun to watch on exhile. She is entertaining and I hope she sticks arounf, though I thought her acting was bad. I would never believe she does not have the idol.
Overall a good episode. We need to see more of Kelly and Jacquie. I can;t get good reads on them yet.

I have to admit to not being particularly impressed by Sugar in the opening two episodes. She just seemed to giggle a lot every time she opened her mouth.
Finding the immunity idol, however, was quite epic, and I give her a lot of credit for that. I'm still not sure she's all that smart, but I've decided she's definitely one to watch.
GC is really annoying. It's like he just automatically has to disagree with everyone without even sitting down to think about it. His constant "I don't have to ..." and "Nobody tells me..." wears really thin really fast. I hope he goes home soon--he's just too confrontational and not at all strategic.
Randy is great. :) By far my favorite player to watch so far. I predict he and Sugar will both go far in the game. We'll see how right I am in coming weeks.

He seems to be the only person on that team who knows thats its a game. He doesn;t get himself in trouble by calling out the ineptitude of his tribemates, but he clearly recognizes it. If there is an early switch or merge, he is in a great position to join a small alliance. I can see him going far.

Old age, I guess.
Sugar and Exile Island -- did anyone else think the clues seemed pretty easy to find compared to previous seasons? The hardest part seemed to be finding the crater and the clue in there. The other clues were fairly obvious and easy to find (or so it seemed due to editing).
Anyone hear/read about the whole Marcus penis flashing thing from the first night's episodes? Seems some family council thing is suing CBS. I'm sure they never even noticed it until it hit the internet.
