That was a funny ending. I grew to dislike Randy. I give Brunet props for editing Randy how he did. It was the perfect edning to that guy. Overall a good episode. I don't like the cocky bullshit that the old Fang is throwing around. If Bob adn corinne are smart, they can still break up that group.
I will say Bob was smart to get on Sugar's side. If Bob can get Sugar and Matty to flip on the group where one of them is clearly the first to go, he may have a chance. I think he may have to sacrifice Corinne though. The auction was typical. I loved that the idiot Randy overpaid for beer and peanuts. I felt bad for Bob though, but maybe that will help him as he is clearly well liked. Corinne made a smart move going all out for teh advantage. Right now its anythign for immunity. The cookie thing was typical Randy bullshit. He is such a jerk.
I have to say, the domino challenge was the best I've seen in awhile. this year they are not pulling back on challenges. They are downright hard. Matty looked great and I thought he woudl win, but that Kenny is showing how good a player he is, both at the game and at challanges. He needs to make sure he is in tight, or else he is getting a bigger target.
Finally, the screw job at tribal. That was great. I was laughing right along with Sugar when Randy stepped up. The look on his face was perfect. Bob gave himself away. He should have played that it was an idol and Sugar made it and tricked them. I loved that ending. One of the best yet. Overall, very good episode with a great ending. I think I am pulling for Sugar now. I just like her the best, which means she is done for.

What a nasty piece of work that that little girl is.
But yeah, I agree that the arrogance and cockiness was way, way, way out of line. It'll come back to bite these people, big time. And to think I used to like Crystal.
I knew the idol would be fake the minute Randy started talking about playing it, so I fast-forwarded to the end when jeff threw it in the fire. There was no need for me to watch the intervening BS and waste my time.
Little pissed off I guess.

I almost felt sorry for Randy in the end. That's me though, I always feel bad for the person leaving even if I couldn't stand him/her. (Except for one woman on the current season of The Biggest Loser, I'd love to see her go)
I agree about the cockiness of Fang. I am hoping that Matty and Sugar will get Bob and Corinne into an alliance and pick off some of Fang. I don't like Corinne but they would need her to have 4 against 3.
Randy acted like a jerk at the auction. Sugar said no to the cookie but that Matty could have hers. Randy said, "I am the boss" and so when he offered her the cookie again, I didn't blame her for taking it and giving it to Matty. Jeff said the cookies were for the tribe, not Randy's to dole out as he saw fit. I felt a little bad that Susie's bath meant taking it in front of the entire tribe. I'm way to self-conscious and I wouldn't have been able to sit there and wash my hair unless I was fully clothed!
I wanted Matty to win the immunity idol even if he wasn't in danger of getting voted out. Kenny seems to be winning too much.
Sugar could not keep from laughing during tribal. I thought for sure she'd give the secret away beforehand. At least the fake idol Bob made didn't look like a stick with a smiley face carved in it. (what season was that? seems like years ago) I don't know if Bob gave himself away, I thought he acted kind of shocked and his vote for Susie may have helped the scam. Although, I didn't see any previews for next week so maybe I missed something. We'll see next week.

| 3. Greatest episode this year |
|
I was so nervous once bob turned over the fake idol that I couldn't watch it until they went to tribal. I was laughing along with Sugar. (I do think she may have overdone it a tad.)
I hope Corinne is next. She pissed me off when she earlier speculated someone may have been a "former fatty". What a witch!

Remember, I think last week, when she was trying to get Sugar on her side and she said to the camera, something to the effect of:
Sugar is so stupid. I just met her and she completely trusts me.
And then she mockingly laughed at her. Nasty and mean to the core.
And then her and Randy this week, viciously stating how they "hated" everyone.
It's like, lighten up people, it's a freakin' game.
I never understand every season there are people on this show who think they have it all wrapped up at the beginning and get so mad when they get double crossed....that's how it works folks!

I love it when mean people get upset when they are treated mean. Golden rule people. do onto others, then don't get mad when you are repaid for your assholeness. Anyway, I love watching Corinne. Probst has a blog on ew.com where he says even though she is hot, she is the worst human being he has ever met (trust Probst to throw in thats she is hot).

Best episode ever! :D The look on Randy's face when Jeff said that wasn't an idol was utterly priceless. Yeah, it was a mean trick by Sugar and Bob (and the jury speeches during the last episode should be utterly great) but really, Randy earned it. It's one thing to be kind of crotchety, it's another thing altogether to be a racist asshole, and I'm glad he got put in his place.
I think I am now pulling for Bob or Matty to take this. Matty was right to try to get rid of Bob, since Bob is clever and well liked, and not above a bit of duplicity to get himself further in the game. I'll be curious to see how next week plays out, given the preview.
Great episode! I loved every second of tribal council, including Crystal not bothering to whisper! LOL

| 5. I loved Crystal's "quiet" camera time durign the voting. |

I forgot about that. That was so cool. The girl is annoying, but she has spunk and is not afraid to show it.

| 6. Randy kinda scares me........... |
|
I have to say that I'm a little worried for both Sugar and Crystal for laughing so much while they were screwing Randy at tribal.
Didn't like Randy one bit. I think he is a mean and nasty and lonely man. But if I were those two I would be worried about that coming after me in real life.
Don't know if anybody remembers this but in the when his tribe won the log rolling challenge they all got multiple letters from home. Randy didn't get any. He just stood there blankly staring. He has no one in his life.
And in his farewell address after the vote, he said he hoped they were all bitten by a green mamba -- the deadliest of snakes in all of Africa.
Glad he is gone but those women should not have taunted him like that. Not only was it immature -- they pulled it off, they won, don't rub it in -- but I think that man has had a sad and lonely existance and I wouldn't want to push someone like that.........

| 8. Wow - I did not catch that he got no letter from home |

I think his page on cbs says he is estranged from his only brother. I hope he has friends. Even if its just a bunch of angry guys who are otherwise alone. We all need someone.

| 10. All they did was give as good as they got. Sugar & Crystal's satisfaction was WELL earned. |
|
Along with everyone else who voted for Randy. And I have the feeling that Crystal, for one, isn't too easily scared by anybody.
Great episode. Kudos to Bob for a well-crafted fake idol. He just might have turned things around for himself.

| 11. I read an interview with Randy |
|
here --> http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/survivor_gabon/2008_Nov_21_randy_outHe says he was cringing watching himself go off on Crystal the other week. He sounds almost human in the interview but if he is best friends with Corinne and Jeff Probst says she is the worst human being... maybe he is still a jerk in real life. hehehe
