Attaching DVD (JVC) to Panasonic LCD. I have it set up, but it won't

play. I have it attached using the red white and yellow cables, but no matter how we set it, it won't play. Any insight to help us? The DVD player is old, could it be a compatibility issue?

1. Have you played with the INPUT button on the tv remote?

I have to change the input to VIDEO or AV to watch the DVD.

I'm certainly no expert but maybe this will help.

2. You can toggle between TV and Video. Didn't seem to do any good.

I have the cables to attach my computer to the TV, I might try that and use my Mac DVD drive instead.
