California is well represented with six. Four others are said to be "in" California but their mini-profiles say they hail from elsewhere. The youngest at 22 is in sales, the oldest at 62 is a private chef.

"An interesting twist was also revealed. At the start of the game, competing tribes will be asked, without speaking, to immediately pick a chief - someone to make all the decisions for the group."
