Right at the end, before the last scenes, I was wondering if this episode would have a shocking ending or just a neat tidy ending. I knew that, if history was an indication, that it *should* have a big ending, but I just didn't see this one coming.
But it was perfect, wasn't it?
Is this it, or is there another season?

I have that on-demand thing....never really ever watched it but everyone said the season finale was so shocking....so I watched all 12 of them.....OMG it was fantastic....it stayed with me all day long too.

We shall see about the Emmys.
I agree about the finale. It's been a while since I've seen it, but it's still with me.
I thought the entire season was top-notch. Lithgow was amazing and the interaction with Hall was some of the best I've ever seen. They both deserved their Golden Globe wins!

as much as I hated Rita, I felt so bad for Dexter. His life came full circle. Now what? I wonder if he will be able to hold it together . Will he be a suspect? I can';t wait. But, alas,it is LOST season!

by the entire season and then the last show/final scene - OMG! I've seen every season and it just gets better and better. IMO season four was not only the best of the Dexter series but one of the best I've ever seen on any show. and John Lithgow. I'll be pissed if Michael C. Hall and John Lithgow don't both get awarded at Emmy time.
