1. I watched it and frankly was not interested after two episodes

It seems to me its all about finding a story that shows as much violence and sex as they can, rather than crafting a story and let the violence and sex be a part of it. The story itself is rather weak, and thats what drives a TV series.
I will probably give it a go during the summer when there is nothing else on, maybe I will change my opinion.

2. I realize that it has a slow beginning...

but it does grow, build and evolve tremendously...it all makes sense. The style reminded me of HBO Carnivale......and I have learned that on episode 6, Daniel Knauff became the Consulting Producer...and his work shines thru...He wrote Carnivale......The Finale at Episode 13 was incredible!

3. I love Knauf's work

I'll give it a watch during the summer. That they brought him in mid-way through the season suggests the network thought there were problems when they watched the first few episodes as well. I'll give it a shot and let you know what I think.

4. My thoughts exactly.....

You can feel Knauf's imprint on the sceens from I think Episode 6 or 7 to the Finale' which he wrote the teleplay of the Finale Episode......they use death masks in Episode 7 I believe !!!! The layering and connecting of character issues from previous episodes blending into the Finale was all Knauf style.
