anybody else watching this? It's like Gail Simmons' coming out party, she so wants to be Padma. :D
This week, the margarita dessert that won looked fantastic. Stroke of luck that she came one short, so had to cut them all in half. I think plating was a big part of her win.
Seth brings the crazy in a way I haven't seen on reality TV before. I think he's legitimately dangerous at this point. "The red hots are for my mommy!" Comedy gold.
It's a fairly good show, and fills the Top Chef vacancy until All Stars starts in December. Hubert Keller brings a nice touch of class.

I actually like Gail more than Padma, to be honest, so I'm glad she's getting to host. Another plus for me is no Tom. I cannot stand him. He just seems thoroughly disinterested in Top Chef anymore, to be honest.
I'm not a big fan of desserts, but I do enjoy watching Seth implode every week.

| 2. He explained it at the reunion show |

He expects great food, and just wasn't getting it at the beginning of this season. I think Tom will be much more upbeat on the All Star season.
Johnny Bravo I don't get on TC:JD. He seems to be doing a bad Tom impression all the time.

I've disliked Tom for the last several seasons, not just this one.

She had a cooking show on that new cooking channel. I think it only aired once. She was awful (I could be wrong if it's canceled or not...I haven't been keeping up with the tv) I much prefer Gail.

I like Johnny, he adds an interesting flavor.
The whole Seth thing was surreal. Maybe because of how much he resembles Michael C. Hall (Dexter)! Except CREEPY! lol, "oh, you look like that serial killer, only creepier!"
Morgan deserved to win last night imho, he did a fantastic job with that black and red dress.
I'm liking Zac and Yigit but that's about it.

| 6. Seth had actual issues, I believe |

possibly some form of psychosis. Maybe bipolar. I know when I'm under a lot of stress, my bipolar can act up, and I'm well medicated.
Morgan is looking like the clear front-runner, even if he is a little skeevy.

It's clearly Morgan's to lose at this point. He is so consistently either the top or at the top, it'll take some strange melt down for him to lose this thing.

I'm amazed Danielle has made it as far as she had, her work seems so amateurish.
Morgan is probably going to win this thing--he had a bit of a fall this week, but he'll come back strong in the finale. He's an asshole, but he really does beautiful work, and has continued to impress week after week.
Yigit is falling apart, which is a shame, as I think he's also very talented. But he's also is own worst enemy.
Sorry to see Zak go, but that cake was truly awful looking.
