Did anyone watch the series finale of Medium?

I didn't care for it much.

1. I've thought the writing has been off all season.

Did they get new writers?

Plus it really felt like Arquette was phoning in this season (though I liked the episode with her brother as her brother). He acting was just not up to her usual levels.

As to this specific episode, no, I didn't like it. It should have been very touching and wasn't. Probably for the writing and acting comments above. And it wasn't even like they researched anything. What the hell power does the mayor of a city have in regard to taking a DA off a case?

I also hate when the DA on the show says "You don't know that, you just dreamed it" and completely acts like he hasn't relied on those dreams 5000 times before. Or when her husband wakes up after she wakes up startled and asks what's wrong.

2. Six Feet Under ended their run pretty much the same way, only better.

it was a rather cheesy fast forward to absolute finality.

3. It was OK

I don't think Arquette has been all that invested in this show for the last two seasons, to be honest, so this was probably a very good time to end it. This season has been uneven.

As for the finale, it was OK. I thought it was a nice send-off for the show, overall, and I kind of liked the "Ghost and Mrs. Muir" ending. :)

I had absolutely no clue it ended this season.

I think the ending was pretty good, but I never saw it coming. The last episode ended very sweetly, in my opinion.
