Well, that's over. :D Pagonging complete!
I was positive the twist would be another boot, as we had to fit one in somewhere, but didn't see the challenge at TC. Just goes to show that Rob's head is always in the game.
Glad he decided to wait on booting Andrea. Feelings will be a lot less hurt now, no matter who gets booted.
The reward was a nice addition, and something that's been missing this season. Reward challenges where they're split up into random teams that go on reward would have seriously hurt Rob's Buddy System.
Andrea is likely the next boot, although Rob may figure out a way to boot Grant specifically to come back from RI. (Notice in the preview he's saying someone has to go to RI, not go home.)

| 1. Grant is good at challenges. |
|
He could do well if he was sent to RI. That might not be a bad calculated risk.
I don't like four people on RI at the same time. It gives them too much time to plot against the Omes and Rob.
Do I need to mention that I am sick of hearing about Matt's God? Matt is a whiny baby who is privileged and pampered. He knew the rigors of this game going in. He was lucky to be selected at all. Matt should be thanking God for all his blessings, and asking God to show mercy to the people of Japan, and the people in America's South who are suffering in the aftermath of the tornadoes. They are the ones who need God's help.

Matt is now one of my least favourite players ever. He just sucks.
One thing, though: I don't think he wins. I seriously doubt TPTB would be showing Matt's constant whinging and moaning about being done with the game if he actually came back and won.

I'm sure that Rob realizes that Grant has to go. He is the only one that really stands a chance at beating him. I figure he gets the girls to turn on Grant, unless Grant wins the idol, then its Phillip. He has his idol, which he can still play. I think this week is the last week he can use it. In the old final two days, the final five vote was the last time to use it. Now, it may be the final 6 vote, but Laz, do yo know the rule on this?
I'm now cheering for an all girl final three, and then for Andrea to win it all.
the wild ard is still Matt. I respectfully disagree with my learned colleague Laz on Matt. I think Matt is an amazing player. He is gaining the respect of the jury in the time he spends with each of them on RI. He is nailing the social game, albeit under a different set of rules than we have ever seen before. I like RI and the added element it plays. Not only does RI matter, but the order in which you send people now matters. It makes the game harder to win if a great challenge player like Matt is on RI. I predict he wins out, comes back at the final 5, but does not win it all. I suspect he goes home once he comes back. I can see him coming back and if the idol is still in play, Rob using it to oust Matt.
Rob played a great game, but his cocky attitude turned me off a bit. I tip my hat to the best played season ever, but I still don;t think he wins.

| 5. I believe F5 is the last time it can be used |
|
used to be F4 (in an F2 season). Changes all the time, so who knows?
I would hate for Matt to win, for a variety of reasons I've laid out before, but especially because has said outright he doesn't care about the game.

| 6. How the heck did Phillip know where his shorts |

were buried? Seems like something was edited out.
It would have been fun if Steve had won immunity in that last challenge. Since they didn't have time to discuss it, I wonder who would have been voted off.

Julie said at the TC where she was voted off that she buried them under a big rock, so all SADD had to do was look at big enough rocks in the common areas.
Odds are decent he remembered her going off towards the water hole the evening before with a camera crew.
My great grandfather, a full blooded European American, came to me in a vision and said that's how it likely happened.
For the vote if Steve had won immunity, Rob likely already had Andrea installed as the back up vote.

it's good enough for me!
I would think he'd get rid of Grant before Andrea, since she'll pretty much do anything he says, but what do I know?

from what we've seen, he's got all of Ometepe doing whatever he says.
That ends as soon as someone gets stabbed in the back. So Rob needs to make the easy decision first. The others are all on board with an Andrea boot.
Then his chosen three of Rob/Phile/Natalie have the numbers and can boot Grant and Ashley.
The only possible problem is the returnee from Redemption Island. Rumour is spreading that this person will enter the game in front of the jury as part of the F3, which would be horrible. I think the rumour is spreading because it's so horrible, and they'll instead join at F4, making it a standard F5.

Jeff said that at the start of the final episode, there are 8 people still in it. I would guess its the final 5 and three on RI. I think they will have a challenge and get down to 4, then have the four on RI compete for the final RI duel. Then the winner goes back in and we have a true final 5. I still say its going to be Matt and he is going to be hard to beat.
My gut tells me that Rob will get surprised and voted out. I think he has less control than they are showing. No one could possibly be dumb enough to not talk about how to beat him and that they need to get him out. I think MB is just hiding that from us to make the surprise ouster of Rob better TV. I think he gets rid of Grant, or else he goes. I think we will find out that the girls were playing him and Grant and knew they had the numbers the whole time. I think the wonder twins talked Rob out of voting out Ashley this week and will do it again so that Phillip Rob or Grant goes. then its the three of them walking into the final tribal, unless Matt shows up and messes it up.

useless 1 and useless 2 had the perfect opportunity to dump Rob this week, and decided not to simply because they didn't want Andrea involved. So I don't see a girl power alliance any time soon.
