Did anyone see the Dallas reunion show and was it any good?

1. eh

I missed the last 20 minutes or so, because I failed to notice my DVR decided to tape a marathon of some show I forgot was even programmed and it filled up.

It was okay. Kinda nice to see the old crew. Interesting that Victoria Principal still looks exactly the same, while everyone else has aged.

It was chock full of the padding we're seeing more and more on TV these days. You know, a preview of the coming segment as we go to break, a review of the previous segment when we get back, that sort of thing.

I dunno what the big surprise was. The actress who "shot JR" did show up halfway through. Meh.

Then they all dressed up in formal attire for an Oilman's Ball or something, with some fans they dug up from somewhere. And each person answered a lame question supposedly from a fan that was read from a card.

At that point it ran out.

2. I thought it was incredibly stupid

and I was a big fan. In fact, 23 (almost 24) years ago, as I was being wheeled into the delivery room on that Friday night at 8:05pm, I said, "I'm missing DALLAS!!!" Ok, well, I have my son, instead, and he's provided more than enough drama to make up for it... :D
