OT: Fiasco

I gave myself a copy of Fiasco for Christmas, partly because the Washington Post recommended it as the top political book of the year, and also because it's one of the books JK has mentioned, and because the author Tom Ricks always has something interesting to say when he appears on news programs.

And I must say that even though I've just started it, I'm learning things I didn't know--and that's really saying something, coming from a news junkie like me! I'm really looking forward to the rest of the book! I think it's destined to become one of the lasting, definitive histories of the Iraq war.
