| 1. Was it the movie with Robert Beltran from Star Trek? |
|
I liked him when he was on Star Trek Voyager several years ago and have met him in L.A. and Europe. But a friend who is still a fan of Beltran told me that this Sci-Fi movie wasn't really a good one.

movie didn't hold my interest for long, so I stopped watching it. It was a Sci-Fi channel original entitled "Manticore." Basically it was about a giant gargoyle brought to life in war-torn Iraq. Very strange setting for a horror movie, so I was looking for a political statement, but it was just your average hungry-monster movie.

| 3. Yeah, that's the movie my friend told me about |
|
And she was also disappointed about it. The setting in Iraq was just to make it sound interesting. It was shot in Bulgaria and I'm not surprised that it hadn't any political message at all. It's a shame because the actor, Beltran, has been a strong Bush critic since 2000.
