The "termometer" analysis is fascinating. I wish they would have said when in 2004 this was done. (Before the smears, before the debates etc) I really wonder what would have happened to the thermometers of the 5% neutral if the media had shown the emotionally open, kind Kerry.
It's interesting that Edwards did so much worse - as the hype was that he was the "sunshine boy".
