Local Soldiers React To Murtha's Comments
Congressman John Murtha has been the focus of national headlines over the past year, calling for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq and openly protesting President Bush's policies.
As a result of his strong opinions, Murtha has received an onslaught of public support and criticism.
And just days after returning from Iraq, some members of the 876th Engineering Battalion - based in Murtha's own district of Johnstown - say they agree with Murtha on some points.
Staff Sgt. Randy Myers told the Associated Press, "I'm not sure we are doing a whole lot of good. Everybody thinks we are. We're trying to, but we're not going to change what they want to do."

However, that same poll also found that 43 percent of southwest Pennsylvanians think all troops should be withdrawn from Iraq.
