| We've got a new priest!!! |
|
He starts in a couple of month but we know a bit about him already (unfortunately I can't reveal any of it) and he sounds like he's exactly what we've been looking for - a traditional but young Anglo-Catholic.
We've been struggling along for two years with a variety of intermim priests. Several were too old and one simply didn't 'get it' in terms of our position on litergy, dogma and what "good preaching" entails. One paritioner almost strangled him for a mistake during Ash Wednesday.

| 2. We're waiting on a new bishop in Grand Rapids. |

We had a 59-year-old bishop who died of a rare disease in May, just seven months into office.
Word is, we could know the name of the new bishop any day now.

| 3. Is he from Nashotah House? |
|
That seems to be the primary source for Anglo-Catholic priests in the US.
