Does anybody ever listen to Harold Camping, the President of Family Radio?
I haven't listened in years, but I remember being very intrigued by his whole "The End of the Church Age...and After" campaign. If I understand it correctly, the "church age" ended somewhere between 1989 and 1993, nobody is really sure, and now is the time for "the Spritual Jew" to leave the church and go out into the world and "Evangelize the world".
Here is a link to Brother Camping's book:
http://www.familyradio.com/graphical/literature/church/church_contents.htmlI actually found it very interesting, but then again, I am a "new Christian" and I never went to church when I was a kid. In fact, it wasn't until I needed something to comfort me when I was quitting drugs that I turned to Christianity, so I could still be "lead astray"
Likewise, there is this site that I just found:
http://www.familyradioiswrong.com/Harold Camping is president of Family Stations Incorporated or Family Radio for short. These articles and this site are meant to show that the teaching of Harold Camping is wrong! And it must be stopped. Without an outcry from the programs, listeners and all that care for the corporate church and the Bride of Christ, many will fall under this false teaching.
Anyway, apologies in advance.
