Turning Catholics against one another isn't what I consider being a 'good' Catholic...
Perhaps they are right - John Kerry never tried to divide Catholics against one another.
Is *that* the kind of Catholic Roberts is?
"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. So by their fruits you will know them."
St. Matthew 7:15-20

Kerry did? I'm asking because I don't know of anything Roberts has done in this regard but maybe I've missed something? (Edit: Not that I think Kerry tried to divide Catholics; the division was over his being pro-choice and Catholic.)
Some Catholics will oppose Roberts for his alleged pro-life views; some Catholics opposed Kerry for his stated pro-choice views.
Other Catholics, like me, can be pro-life yet vote for Kerry, and also be suspicious of the allegedly pro-life Roberts because of his ties to the Bushes, and because we know that overturning Roe is not the answer to the problem of abortion.
