| I'm taking a STEP class through Notre Dame |
|
It's one of their book seminars, "Love in the Ruins," by Walker Percy. It's an Internet-only class and much cheaper, to say the least, than their regular courses. $29 for four weeks. I'm a bit behind on the reading, but once I get through Unit 1, I'll be posting and partaking in the discussion. Love the book, love HIM; he's a wonderful writer. It's pretty cool: there's somebody from Fairbanks, AK, in the class, somebody else from Erie, PA. If anybody's interested I'll keep you posted.

| 1. Glad you're doing it, Shrike.... |

I never got around to registering, mainly because I wasn't sure what this winter was going to look like, time wise. Now I wish I had. I'll have to check out their spring offerings.

Considering Notre Dame's standard tuition costs, you certainly can't beat the price.

| 3. That's why I was so intrigued by it when I got the pamphlet... |

...which is still around my house. Somewhere. I was so impressed that NDU is offering this. It's more than my alma mater (also Catholic with some repute) does.
