Nov. 2, Feast of All Souls -- Ask for prayers for your departed loved ones

For me, that includes my grandparents, parents, in-laws and their parents, aunts and uncles of mine and of Mr. Bones, several friends (including my dear French memere or godmother), and especially one of my "baby" brothers, who departed this life November 2, 1994.

May all our loved ones rest in the peace of the Lord and may all the poor souls in Purgatory be released through our prayers.

1. I'm sorry about your brother.
May he and all your departed family be at peace in the next life.

One of my great-grandfathers actually died on All Souls Day as well, in 1936.


Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.
