So the priest calls all the kids up to the altar to explain that the Pharisees were trying to get Jesus killed which I thought was a nice way to plant some good solid anti-Semitism.
Then he pulled out a dollar bill to show the kids that all our money says "In God We Trust" and told them we shouldn't trust the government.
It was down hill from there......

I wish you had been at my parish. The priest talked about human beings being in the image of God and that we do God's work. I think he was espousing a variation on Saint Teresa of Avila's notion that Jesus has no hands on earth but ours.
