Some time ago, while I was looking fora job, I was in a McDonald's and got to talking to 2 women who were going through a CNA training program sponsored by an agency that trains you and then places you. Since it turned out that the agency was way down at the south end of town and I could not get there on the bus, I didn't pursue it and sort of forgot about it. A few weeks ago, while riding the bus I ran into an acquaintance who used to work where I did. She had just taken a job at a very nice nursing home near where I live, and loves it. She told me that the agency had moved to another location on the busline. I had not known that. She said I should apply. I have been praying ever since for God's guidance about this since I was growing increasing bored and frustrated with my job. Today I lost that job.

It didn't have to happen this way. I would not have ordinarily run into that acquaintance, since I usually take an earlier bus. But I ran late at work that day and had to catch that one. Now I have a lead on a much more fulfilling job than listening to people gripe about their cell phones all day, and it's in a growing field and impossible to outsource. Coincidence? I don't think so. :)

4. I don't think I'll have to look much longer.

I got to start CNA classes three weeks weeks ago, instead of having to wait until January because a spot opened up. I finish tomorrow, then I will start job hunting. I am very happy. Thank you for your concern. :)
