| What does "Kamenniy-ostrov" (Anton Rubinstein) mean? |
|
I have a piano piece, which may be part of a larger opus, by Rubinstein titled "Kamenniy-ostrov" (double-dot or umlaut over the "i"). I tried my free online translator site and got nothing. Does it have a translation? Or is it the name of something in particular (street, town, church, I dunno)? :dunce:

I'd guess that it means "Stone Island."
