Just wrote a letter to a fantasy/sci fi publishing company

I just finished reading one of Mercedes Lackey's non-Valdemar books. It was Mad Maudlin--pretty good series-shame she never continued it.

I noticed one error that was continued throughout the book. It was about one of the main characters and where he was from.

When he was first introduced in a previous book, it said he was from West Virginia. In MM, it kept referring to him as being from the Ozarks.

Now, this may sound petty but since I'm from West Virginia, I know that the state is NOWHERE near the Ozarks.

This is the second time I've read the book and it bugged me the first time.
