Cutting the Deck was one of my faves, though. But I think you should have submitted this because these are females working.

There's always something new or interesting to try.
Strangely, I want to take a picture of someone ironing now. It actually fits in quite well with a photo series I've been thinking about. It's never occurred to me to discriminate against my subjects based on gender (or any other personal criteria). I already reject 99% of my photos for problems with focus, composition, etc.

Mine's buried in a cupboard somewhere. Anyway, all the shirts seem to be made out of viscous or some highly flammable material. Not the kind of thing you wear near heat sources.

Good luck getting a picture. We are sort of into cotton but it either just goes in the dryer or off to the laundry.
There is one house that I know of (in the country) that has clothes on the line--and it is that old fashioned kind of long clothesline. I bet she irons. I have the camera ready in case she puts anything colorful on the clothesline, but I don't think I would actually stop to ask to get a photograph of her ironing! Most ironing photos these days would probably have to be posed shots! It would be cool, though to find someone to wear gray blue and pose sort of like the Picasso painting.

I like your Picasso idea. I was thinking of something retro modern and whimsical. Maybe we should suggest "domestic chores" for the next contest theme?
