2. If they are smart (and most are) they are not

laughing at you. Karma bites and all that. Actually I am smiling and thinking how smart you are for trying everything for real before you have to start the contest threads.

Just be sure to have everything on notepad or word and saved before posting. I do not know why but DU will hiccup if you didn't save each post to your hard drive first.

3. I second the recommendation to type the pages up before hand

Have everything ready to go and cut and paste into DU when you are ready to post. I used my email program so I could check the photo links.

4. That was the best advice I got

as well. I put everything into 3 separate WORD documents, one for each prelim poll then cut and pasted it into the message body, then added the poll part. It made it really easy since I could update the WORD documents as photos were posted in the submission thread. I used a random number generator and as the photos got posted I could determine which thread they would be in.

I was pretty nervous about the HTML stuff since I didn't even know how to make a word BOLD or italics. But I learned!

Just be sure to preview your thread before you actually post it.
