I'm thinking about going down for the demonstration. It would be nice to meet some of you if I do.

3. I haven't met any either,

although I know other Alaskan DUers have been at some of our peace protests. We just don't recognize each other in a crowd. I'm going back and forth on this. I've certainly got the time to go, but I'm just not sure about the $$. Oh, well, I've got a couple of weeks to think about it before I need to buy a plane ticket.

I certianly couldn't afford that. The only reason I can afford to go is because I live less than an hour away. If you can swing it you should come. We Photo Groupies can take a bunch of pictures to wow the Lounge with.

DUer AnnInLA has offered me half her hotel room at the Holiday Inn where she will be with a bunch of other Louisianans (is that they call them -- we always had a more derogatory term when I lived in Texas), so I'm going for sure. I booked my flight tonight. Maybe we can figure out a way for us Photo Groupers to meet up.

I usually take photos of the Denver protests and post them in GD afterwards. They're very well received and always make the Greatest page. So this could be your chance to make the Greatest page! I'd love to see what Denver pulls together.
