| *** January Contest Theme Decision *** |
|
Edited on Thu Jan-06-11 12:47 PM by tabatha
I thought about this last night, and realized that water can be virtually monochrome in many instances - ice, snow, water running from a tap, in a fountain, etc. Then water can also be colored in many instances, usually when reflecting. I love the color of sea water at sunrise, sunset.
So it became obvious that a combination of the two hottest vote getters - is not only possible, but logical. (40 votes this time and dead even, wow!)
So here it is - January theme:
WATER IN COLOR (RGB) OR B&W (MONOCHROME)
because in many instances water is virtually monochrome and then it is also colored, and taking pictures of either would not be apparently different from a theme of just WATER.

| 1. The B&W can also be used |
|
for photos that would normally be colored. (I forgot to say.)

| 3. You're doing a great job. |

Getting to make at least one arbitrary decision is the least you should get for winning since hosting is stressful. The worry of making a mistake was always my biggest stress inducer.
Now to find my monochrome water photo that I think I would like to use. lol
