Hi Everyone,

I had thought of putting the first polls up tonight, but in light of all that has happened, and where the threads are all about people trying to deal with the tragedy, possibly I should wait a few days, especially since we are ahead of schedule.

1. Very very good thinking, Tabatha. Just like

in my observation the entire handling of hosting, you are on the spot and one would never know it is your first time.

What you could not have known about our habits, is that between the decision of the theme and the beginning of submitting photos we have a break of a week or a little more for people to shoot or chose a photo.

In addition to "Water" turning into such a seemingly beloved topic and filling up so fast that week is another reason for our being early this month.

You have my full support in waiting until our boards calm down from reactions to the tragedy.

So your decision will be respected by all.

I, however feel that perhaps the gorgeous photos
could help lift the weight of the severity of the current
events, if only temporarily...

5. I think something like this has happened before

And people were glad for the more light hearted thread for a change.

But some people think it's important to have a mixture of weekday and weekend.........that would mean start later in the week.

For me? I don't think it matters one way or another. Host's choice. The host rules!!! :)
