1. I love bugs!
I love flowers too. Just something about bugs...

7. yeah...but I'd like'em even if they didn't.
I kept my front porch covered in flowers and plants so creepy crawlies would arrive. I got to see a lot of baby praying mantises that way. One year 3 yellow garden spiders made their webs in different spots around my porch. People were afraid to come to my door. I just laughed at them. Mind you, it was always neat and well planned. That way we could sit out and enjoy the view.

I used to get birds nesting in my hanging baskets...got to see their babies grow and take off on their own.

8. I love Macro flowers and bugs.
We have flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds. I will have to dig up the cricket image. It was on a Lantana.

2. These are just BEAUTIFUL!
And it's amazing how you got that bug to pose at the perfect spot! ;-)

It's nice to see a photo with color. Everything here is white, white, white!

5. Thanks. That bug was such a prima dona. She insisted on
Patagonian glacial water collected in the shadow of a Lactating Llama . She claims it brings out her natural sheen.

10. It was a light overcast, so the colors weren't washed out too bad.
I did a bit of PP. I tweaked DR, saturation, white balance, and curves. A small bit of wavelet sharpen too.

I made no attempt to represent a real flower.
