34. like that shot! with not much to do - i am building a cardinal's paradise on my deck

i have tons of them in the yard

so far all the doves and all the blue shimmering blackbirds, sometimes as many as twenty, are keeping the squirrels company in my varied feeders, every now and then cute little birds

the cardinals sit in the tree or on the fence

Try to sneak up on them and take their pictures in the trees. It's a lot more fun that way anyway, albeit a bit less productive. Cardinals are shy! They are what I call the anti-robin. Can you tell I am a bit sick of robins?
