Thread for All Shadow Photos Taken *since* your entry was posted in February
Edited on Fri Mar-04-11 11:52 AM by Celebration
I just want to see if other people kind of get on a roll and keep going with the last theme like I do. It takes me a couple of weeks just for a new theme to sink in. I was inspired to do this because of all the discussions on the difference between reflections and shadows. Hopefully you can tell what it is!

4. A shadow does not show details, just an outline, a reflection
shows a mirror image.

A shadow taken recently

Shadows and reflections cross paths

9. Oh, fun
I love the koi shadow.

I have not been smiling the last couple of days because of all the clouds here. I'm still in shadow mode.

10. Shadow rake would have been a contender
at least IMO anyway. That's a great shot.

11. I had this one but didn't use it because it's an old pic

More controversy on the shadow/reflection debate. Throw in some circles too, and it's an all purpose image.

15. Not just a threefer
An awesome threefer!

I do wish you would use it for some contest. Definitely contest worthy, and a winner.

16. Beautiful girl, and
Beautiful soft shadows.

I also try not to post recognizable full face family photos in GD, but will occasionally do it here.

Thanks for sharing this. I think it is a great shadow photo.

17. I stated this once before
My favorite idea for a circle photo is a semi circle that is reflected to make a full circle. Unfortunately, I don't have one, and you do, and I am jealous.

You are right this is another threefer, and a treat for the eyes. And, I do love it when shadows get mixed up with reflections.

I guess the one I posted is almost a threefer, since the bicycle has wheels, but definitely not entering it for circles.

21. I recommend this highly.
In case you don't know yet - - the next contest is "circles".
If you enter this one, wait til the end of submissions. I, for one, will be intimidated.
