Sure, sure - it was a stair.....but now it is a circle. :)



The tie was broken. We have a theme. It was a slug-fest until the end but circles pulled ahead and now we honor those votes.

Although I am probably ready with my entry, I certainly plan to look for more circle photos, as time allows! I like the theme, although either would have been fine with me. :)

4. Can it be part of a circle?

If it doesn't need to be a complete circle, then I have an entry already!

7. Does it imply the entire circle? When I see does it seem like the whole

circle is there and I just can't see it? I know the subject is round even if all I see is half of it? Is it that kind of thing?

I'm inclined to say it's really a matter of interpretation on the photographer's part. So, really, it's however you feel about it.

As long as it's not something obviously not a circle...it's up to you.

10. The soft diffusion of light

and the balance in this picture is simply magnificent. I adore the gentle delineation of the surroundings by wisps of light.
a photo that deserves first place somewhere.

14. submitting a photo

1 question. for submitting a photo do i just post it here like i usually do (from my flickr page),email it somewhere or what?
is there a limit to ho wmany entries one can make?

The submissions will be in a new thread which will begin on the 17th, I think. (See Post 5 above). One entry per contestant. Normal photo posting procedures - your flickr account should be fine. The host usually copies the image to their own account to organize and repost in the preliminary threads. There will be more details in the submission thread when it is posted. 16. Unnecessary for the host to copy photos

When I hosted I just copied and pasted the links and titles onto a wordpad doc.
