1. I bet the cardinals never left!
But now you have the flowers behind them. What we have blooming here is only Bartlett pears, Tulip poplars, and forsythia. Everything else is on hold. But there are tulips at the Botanic Gardens so I may go there at some point.

Love the female cardinal. My dream shot would be to get a really good closeup of a pair of cardinals together. I have some shots but they are not particularly close.

Thanks for bringing us your spring.

2. Mmm, I can't wait until it's wildflower time. We need more rain, though.
I must admit, I love the work Lady Bird Johnson did for the wildflowers of Texas. Later this spring, I'll go up towards Johnson City...take some photos to show you guys.

3. Oh, fantastic!
Gotta say I admire her, and all her promoting of different plants for each particular area of the country. She was so adamant about all this that I don't think she allowed the wildflowers there at the center near Austin to be watered. We went during a drought and saw some pretty sad looking wildflowers.

I could easily look at some bluebonnet photos!

5. Nothing here but brown right now
Occasionally covered by white again when it snows. We've got at least a month to go. I'm envious, BTW.

7. These are sooooo beautiful, and
so colorful. I think that's what I'm missing right now - colors (and blue sky too)! We're expected to get another 4-6 inches of snow this evening. Spring definitely is not "around the corner" in my neck of the woods.
