Anyone use one?
I'm thinking of adding one to my 75-300 IS
I cannot afford a Canon 1.4X II so I am hoping that I will be satisfied with this.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Canon 5D + Tamron 1.4 + Tamron 200-500mm
The Egret photo was shot with that combo. Pretty happy with it.

I think you'll be fine with a Tamron. I have some Tamron and Sigma stuff.
It's been my experience that extenders work best on prime lenses (fixed focal length). That's not to say that they don't work with zooms.
If you're looking for an awesome nature setup save your pennies for a Canon 300 f/4 with a 2.0x. I gar'n'tee you'll be impressed. I was.
Using implants will take a little getting use to. Metering will go a little wacky and I've always used manual focus.
Also; with my Canon implants they only seem to work with well with "L" lenses. Not sure if this is the case with the Tamron.
