this photo even more special.
First and foremost, someone took time to (ahem) stage the photo, put knitted caps and pins on the roots. Then as chance would have it, you came along, camera in hand and captured it for us.
Now it's and even more amazing story.
There are to many stories among us, and as photographers, we do capture those stories and tell them to others visually.

potato-like people...especially because of the 3 that are dressed up.
Several people were gathered around trying to get a good shot.
I enjoy running across things like that....someone took the time to do it...so others could appreciate it. Like you said...I think that's nice. It's like meeting the person on some level...they've left something for you..a little piece of themselves.
