you enter something that is mediocre in your own mind in order to just occupy a spot?

I enter because I want to be in the top ten.
Then, in my mind, I win.

6. No, I enter what I think is the best I have

of what I have - and I think they have been pretty good - but I don't go out to take a special photo to try and beat everyone else. I would be happy with 10th place.

It sounded like you had the secret of knowing how to win or lose at these contests. That would have taken the fun out of it for me, or I would have wanted to buy a bottle of it.

I have been very impressed with your work from the moment you came on the scene with a last moment first entry, a definite show stopper, and won the contest.

I was very intimidated with that feat. So I was just checking...

So, I like to compete but not to win every time.

10. I agree with you, Mira. I won one of the first contests I entered, but

since then, I've not broken the top ten. I came close this time, and that's good enough for me!

I'll just have to keep trying :)

If I remember, at the time you suggested that 2nd place was the "real" winner, and I still think that.
