2. Each one of these has its charm...
But the lighthouse really does just leap off the page.

It is stunning!

I also found the Christmas candle very lovely.

It's good to see you posting!

:hi:

It's good to see you posting!

Because of the abysmally-bad spring weather so far here in the Pacific Northwest, shooting opportunities have been few and far between. Instead, I've been spending my time scanning several binders full of old slides and negatives from my first days with an Instamatic through my last 35mm shots. All the images in this poll are scanned from 35mm -- the newest image ("Black Cat") is from thirty years ago, the earliest ("The Eagle At Twilight") is from almost exactly thirty-five years back; it was the second shot I took with my first SLR, purchased while home from college over spring break. The lighthouse shot was taken at Acadia National Park over Labor Day weekend in 1978.

3. Lighthouse got my vote
I loved being able to see the magnificent color of the sky through the lighthouse windows...seemed to inject the negative space into the the non-negative subject matter.

5. All very stunning . . .
but I choose "The Eagle At Twilight." That sky is just awesome, and I'm really liking how the sky highlights the rooftop!
