1. Other than the snake creeping me out a bit
Wonderful photos!! I don't usually think about going to the zoo, but your photos make me want to go!! (sans the reptile house). Honestly the flamingos look great, the boy is having a great time, and the otter is adorable. Good job.

2. thanks
since I move every three weeks to a new part of the country, I look for trails and places to hike... I am just a few blocks from the Phoenix Zoo and find it and the park nearby a great place to walk every morning... I have mixed feelings about zoos but I do enjoy the animals and plants...

3. looks familiar
I've been to Phoenix only once but you don't soon forget it. I felt really out of shape on one of their trails, but had the sense to stop! It was some sort of mountain trail. I like trails but I'm afraid my hikes have devolved into "walks."

4. To me these are so varied, it's almost different worlds.
Emotionally speaking, that is.
From snake, cripes, to the sweetest critter, the Otter. You caught a wonderful moment in this shot. I hope you save it.
I want to hug it and caress it, and for me that's a bit unusual. My one and favorite pet is a big Shepherd.

The color of the water, and the stance of the Flamingos is an enviable catch. The one time I've seen that many Flamingos in a Zoo it was all pink looking stalkers in water that was murky and not pleasing.
As I see it the color is really grand, and real. Congrats on that one!

And I love the boy. That's a boy portrait indeed.

6. I once saw a flock of Flamingos
Flying over the Florida keys. It was breathtaking. No camera with me. But I was in Awe!
