2. You deserved finding this after all your efforts (so far LOL) - and I was
going to talk about the third, til I realized the power of the second. Very very nice and oh so timely that you got out and found backlit birds.

I almost had a wreck today. Thought of you. I was in a shopping center built at a 90 degree angle to another shopping center, and the roads were filled with cars, and there was no nature at all except for a big (color: dark) goose in the MIDDLE OF THE TRAFFIC. Then I saw another, smaller, and suddenly I counted 8 babies. All in the street in traffic.

Where I had the almost wreck, and thought of you, was when I was not able to reach for my camera without letting go of the steering wheel and I still have a plastic "armor" on my broken arm it was simply too dangerous to pursue it.

It was awesome, even without being able to bring you a photo to show you.

3. gosh
you sure didn't need another accident........ Geese can be a bit annoying. That wasn't smart. Glad you are okay.

But for the contest, it probably would not have occurred to me to take the geese from the different angle.
