Lemonade from lemons!
This was a low lighting situation so my images were softer than I would like. But when I saw this one with the forelock flying I just couldn't trash it. I used my limited PhotoShop skills (I use the term loosely here) and am pleased I no longer look at it with an aching heart!

1. Porcelain. That's what the horse seems made of.
Phenomenally interesting all the way around, because I can't get away from the feel that it is a non-live horse in a oh so live setting, if this makes sense. I so wish there were a tiny bit more of the tail.

2. We think alike!
Yes, the tail... me too. I was tempted to clone it and work with it but decided it was probably more work than it was worth. Your comment may spur me to try.

it's not right yet.
You have to add black on the right, and preserve the up swing of the tail.
Where is Trusty Elf when we really need him.
The MASTER of photoshop.

(you don't mind my vehemence, you live for it )

I'm editing this to make sure I'm clear. The photo because of the incongruence I already mentioned is very worthwhile. The flow of the tail needs to mimic the flow of the thing on the head in reverse. Then it sings.

5. I just knew you would say that!!!
It's hard to create an arc where none really exists but maybe I'll give it another try. Off to watch the Preakness (which I love and hate).

7. Well alright then! that means it is all settled. I was referring to the aft-lock then.
So much to learn. So little time.
