1. No caption
But, Ms Yeti, how is it possible you only have 519 posts with all the fabulous photos you post?

5. Huh,
I never thought of that. Guess I just don't talk much (although my husband may disagree)!

3. No caption, but this is a great photo. I love the soft backlighting..the
black cats eyes, and the softer grey behind. Beautiful cats.

6. I was at a friend's house...
...and we were in the driveway when their two cats showed up. I recalled I had my camera with me so I started to shoot. They really like people and they were so entertaining!

7. That last one, the head shot of the gray....perfection.
If that were my cat, I would have bought that pic and framed it.

8. I love the texture you captured in these photos.
Just curious, are you professional? I have a black cat and find getting the detail you have gotten here all but impossible. Did you shoot these outside in natural light? What time of day was it? I hope you don't mind my asking.

9. No, I make some money here and there...
...but I like to keep my photography for myself. I don't like being told what/how to shoot so if I can do it my way then I'm all ears for $. I seem to be just building a stock of photos and don't know what, if anything, I'll do with them.

Yes, it was ambient light, probably around 6 p.m. If you are having trouble with your black cat you might want to try some fill-in or bounced flash.

Thanks for looking! And please feel free to ask anything at all!

4. As long as she's the only one that can use the can opener,
it would be short sighted to kill her.
