But I've eaten plenty of the paddles and fruit.
Funny, but in Mexico the fruit is called Tuna. On my first trip there, prior to learning Spanish, I was aghast at the idea of a Tuna drink.

5. A drink of mescal should precede any foray into the unknown
But an Agua de Tuna is one of the utterly most delicious of beverages.
