| Black and White question. |
|
Borders or no borders?
I know we had a lengthy discussion and decided something, I can't quite fully remember. But there is the likelyhood that a predominantly white pic with a predominantly white background may need some delineation/border.
Is there a call the host would like to make?

| 1. I don't recall what the decision was for the B&W contest...or |
|
if there was a blanket decision on borders for all contests.
You bring up a fine point though.

| 2. If I remember correctly |
|
a border of a maximum 10 pixels would be allowed if the pic needed delineation from the white field of the message space.

In general, it is a host decision. There has been discussion in the past about this issue and it's generally leaned towards as minimalistic a frame as possible. I'm leaning towards a simple 1 or 2 pixel solid black border in these cases. This will minimize any "artistic effect" the border has on the image outside of delineation. I'll put this in the rules when I post the submission thread, which will be either very late tonight (around midnight PST) or tomorrow evening (about 8pm PST).
