My block was on the dividing line and this was at the other end. Everyone behind me had power. I liked the "atmosphere". :)

Fucking hurricane force wind...FINE. Summer/winter breeze....bzztt...darkness! I can honestly say that was one of the more annoying things I encountered while living there.

Too funny! It is amazing how each little area has its own culture. To a visitor it might not be obvious, but if you live there, you can tell.
