Has anyone bought a refurbished dslr?

B&H is offering a Nikon-refurbished d7000 for $999. I'm interested but wary. Also somewhat desperate. My d80 died when I took it for an impromptu swim, and I've been without a camera for 2 weeks now.

and ive bought used lenses many times... I would hane no problems buying a refurbished camera from B&H

3. I buy refurbished all the time

Printers, Apple TV, point and shoot Nikon. I would have no problem with a name brand such as Nikon. They usually offer a limited warranty with them.
