where would i look for graphic design competitions?

i designed a logo for the mon profit studio coop that i belong to. i think it is pretty good. i would like to enter it in some competitions, just out of see. i googled a little, but they seem mostly to be of the "we want a cheap logo so we are having a contest" sort.
anyone know of a good recourse for stuff like this? is there any money out there? anyone ever won one?

Communication Arts Magazine, Print Magazine, How (to name a few). You can probably search "Graphic Design Magazines" and get a lot of hits. Nearly all have some kind of annual award issue.

Local ad clubs have competitions too. If you're near a big city search for those as well.
