Quito School. Trying to find an expert

Have checked Internet and there is a lot of info, but what we are looking for is an expert on the Escuela Quiteña.

A friend has a large painting that may be from the late 1500s or early 1600s and she is trying to get it validated/appraised.

Thanks for any lead to a real, live expert.
