4. It's not too well known outside of a few dedicated users

It's an old raytracing program that's been around forever but just keeps getting better. There's no GUI like other 3d apps like 3DSMax or Lightwave - it's all hand coded scripts (except for the person which was imported from Poser). It's pretty much all I ever use except for the occasional Poser model.
