What is Adult Swim? I've seen a lot of boxed sets at the stores lately and then there's the post in this forum. What is Adult Swim and are they worth purchasing?

1. It's the block of programs shown on Sunday nights on Cartoon Network.
Set apart from the rest of the programming by copious "content" announcements.

"Sealab 2021", "Aqua Teen Hunger Force", "Harvey Birdman", and my personal favorite, "The Brak Show", among others.
